Just a reminder of what I expect from all of my students:
1) RESPECT each other!
2) Properly use supplies, tools, and materials as demonstrated.
3) Come prepared to work. Please sit in your assigned seat and work on the assigned task.
4) Clean up after yourself!
5) Be CREATIVE and use your imagination!
GRADING:
- Participation: You will get a weekly participation grade based on how effective you used your class-time throughout the week.
- Sketches: You will get points for completing sketches. Turn them in with finished projects!
- Projects: Most of your points come from the completion of projects. They will range in media and style. You are always graded on the Complexity of your project and the Neatness and Craft. Otherwise, criteria will be specified per project.
- Final Exam: You will take a written Final Exam at the end of the semester covering important skills, techniques, tools, and artists learned.
- Pencil with Eraser
- Agenda (for passes out of class)
- Assigned materials like images for a project or found objects
- Headphones for your iPods. I don't want to hear what you're listening to!
- Your Creativity!
- Your positive attitude!
